Inspired by the success of American high school sailing and collegiate sailing, former Olympic athlete Tyler Bjorn is proud to be the first to bring high school sailing and collegiate sailing to Canada. Our programs targets students from Secondary III to university wanting to practice sailing as a sport during the academic year.
Schools using the PCYC as their base have option for beginner, intermediate and advanced programs as well as their choice of schedule. Students use Collegiate Club FJs as well as Collegiate Club 420s that each accommodate two athletes. Our professional Sail Canada certified instructors and coaches will ensure the finest sailing training, with Sail Canada levels being awarded to students showing the proper skill level.
We currently host two university clubs, École polytechnique de Montréal and École de technologie supérieure.
Students wanting to start a sailing team or club at their high school are encouraged to contact their school's athletic director. Athletic directors wanting more information can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
